Do you have a gift shop?

Yes! The NMD has both an on-site and online gift shop! Visit the online gift shop at shop.dentalmuseum.com

How much does a trip to the NMD cost?

Admission rates are $10 for adults, and $5 for seniors, students, and children. Ask us about our special rates for members and through partnering organizations. Is your organization/group in town for a conference? Reach out ahead of time to discuss special admission opportunities with the museum.

Can we take pictures?

Pictures are always welcome at the museum! Feel free to tag us in your posts to social media as well @SDHNMD.

Can we eat at the museum?

Although we do not have food to purchase, you and your group are more than welcome to bring packed lunches or purchase lunches from nearby restaurants to eat at the museum. There are always tables and seating available in the museum’s atrium. Please let us know ahead of time if you’re planning a group visit to ensure we have the appropriate number of tables and chairs available..

What if there is inclement weather? How do we know the museum will be open?

The NMD typically follows the same closures and delays for Baltimore City Public Schools when it comes to inclement weather. We strive to let you know as soon as possible if we are going to be closed due to inclement weather or other reasons, and we always put an announcement at the top of our website and on our voicemail.
