Learn With NMD

Teachers & Students

The NMD is proud to offer educational programming that meets Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) as well as Common Core standards in literacy and mathematics. Learn more about our programs, including cost, duration, and how they meet education standards by visiting our Teachers & Students page.

Kids & Caretakers

Take advantage of these fun resources and activities to help children learn even more about their oral health and dentistry. The NMD is excited to offer printables, online learning, and on-site programming and events to engage young learners to think about smiles and their connection to the world.

A Mouthful of History

Funded by the Science Education Partnership Award (SEPA) from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences, A Mouthful of History will provide online educational modules that combine the health sciences, science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM), and the humanities for Pre-K-12 learners.

The Making Schools Smile Fund

The Making Schools Smile Fund was established to ensure access to oral health education for Title I schools and low-income communities by providing transportation to the museum, developing virtual and off-site educational resources and programming, and to supplement and expand oral health education in elementary schools.

The Making Schools Smile Fund can be supported through donations, planned giving, and corporate partnerships.
